Every order is printed to order. We print in 3–5 working days, then ship via DHL (1–3 days within Germany, 2–5 days elsewhere in the EU). Total time is typically under two weeks anywhere in the EU.

PLA+ is a bioplastic made from plant starch, not petroleum. It's plant-safe, inert in soil and water, and heat-stable to around 60 °C — more than enough for any indoor setting. We use it for all visible parts of our products.

PETG is tougher and more moisture-resistant than PLA+. We use it for inner liners in our self-watering pots — components in sustained contact with wet soil where long-term durability matters. Everything you can see is still PLA+.

No, under normal indoor conditions. PLA+ is rigid and warp-resistant up to around 60 °C. Avoid sustained direct heat above that — a south-facing window is fine, an outdoor terrace in peak summer is not. With normal indoor care, the pole will outlast several repotting cycles.

Not currently through the shop. If you need a non-standard length for an order of three or more poles, get in touch at hello@mossandform.de and we can discuss it.

Push the pole into the soil alongside your plant — deep enough to be stable, close to the main stem. Guide existing aerial roots toward the lattice with soft plant ties. New roots will attach on their own within a few weeks.

Mist the pole when you water your plant — aerial roots are drawn to moisture. For larger specimens you can wick water through the hollow core with a thin tube; roots that reach the inside stay consistently moist without overwatering the soil.

Yes — that's the point. Each section connects to the next with the included stacking pin. Press the new section on top and it friction-fits in place. No tools, no repotting.

Short-term, yes. Long-term outdoor use isn't recommended — sustained UV exposure and temperatures above 60 °C (a terrace in midsummer) can cause warping over time. Indoors it's indefinitely durable.

A damp cloth or soft brush is enough. The open lattice doesn't trap much debris. If algae develops from frequent misting, rinse with water and let it dry in indirect light.

We stand by our print quality. If a section delaminates or a connector pin fails under normal use within 12 months of delivery, contact us at hello@mossandform.de and we'll replace it.
